Learn how to present a strong image during a film audition and cold reading. This educational workshop emphasizes character development, believability and overall effectiveness of a scene. Actors will read scenes (individual and/or partner) and will receive detailed feedback and redirection. Plus, learn about: what casting directors are looking for; how to get work; do’s and dont’s of auditioning; getting the right representation; networking and making yourself like a business; about joining professional associations and unions; and much more!! This is a cold-read workshop (material will be given to you AT the workshop; nothing to prepare).

Chadwick Struck (see imdb.com) casts voiceover, television, theater, & film. His start into features casting (as a Casting Associate) began with “Herbie: Fully Loaded”, “Just Friends”,  & “The Heartbreak Kid”; and (1st Feature Film Casting Director credit in 2003) “MINI’S FIRST TIME” (Tribeca Film Festival) a Kevin Spacey produced film that starred Alec Baldwin, Luke Wilson, Nikki Reed, Jeff Goldblum, Carrie Anne Moss. This led to a 2nd Spacey produced project “COLUMBUS DAY” (2008) starring Val Kilmer, & Wilmer Valderrama. He has been the Casting Director of films such as: (LINEWATCH) a SONY release / Vancouver Film Festival starring Cuba Gooding, Jr., & Evan Ross, (SMOTHER) a Jay Roach comedy starring Diane Keaton, Liv Tyler, Dax Shepard, (JOHNNY GOT HIS GUN) an anti-war film released by Mark Cuban’s company TRULY INDIE starring one actor – Benjamin McKenzie, (LOWER LEARNING) comedy starring Eva Longoria, Rob Corddry, Jason Biggs, (FINDING BLISS) comedy produced by & starring Leelee Sobieski, (DEMOTED) comedy producer by Warren Zide & starring David Cross, Sean Astin, Michael Vartan. More recently, in 2011, he worked on:  ”A Green Story” (Producer & Casting Director), “The Drunk” (Co-Producer & Casting Director), “Rockbarnes” (Co-Producer & Casting Director),  The Embryo Who Came In From the Cold”, “House Without a Home”,  ”Miss L” (Pilot Presentation). For 2012, he will be busy casting many projects, including “Major” (Pilot Presentation), “Cabin Fever 3”, “Clinton Road,” “Counterswirl” and “The Slimbones”.

Here is our cancellation policy as required by California law: Cancellation Policy. In addition to this policy, we offer a CREDIT policy should you need to cancel. Specifically, if you need to cancel and would like to reschedule for another workshop, we shall credit you the full amount towards another future workshop (one year expiration date). Simply call us (310-717-2181; 9am-10pm) or email us (info@hollywoodactingworkshop.com) to notify us that you want to reschedule. Further, in the event that an instructor or casting director cancels and a comparable replacement cannot be scheduled for that same date, it is your choice to receive an immediate full refund or your fee can be used as a credit towards any future workshop of your choice.
