**Currently full..but, taking students on a waitlist. Please register your name below.

This class is dedicated to teaching young people to merge their own uniqueness into the demands of acting on television. Throughout the 4-week cycle, teen actors will learn how to present a strong image during an audition for television (particularly teen television, such as Disney, Nickelodeon, etc).

This educational workshop will cover: believability and overall effectiveness; breaking down the television casting process from A to Z; how to prepare for television copy; how to work with a scene partner; do’s and dont’s of television auditioning; how to stand out in an audition, the kinds of headshots and resumes that impress the casting directors, how to market yourself, and much more!

Additionally, various improv exercises and other techniques will be introduced to develop the foundation of acting and help students gain a freedom in front of the camera.

Throughout each class, actors will read audition copy (individual and/or partner), have LOTS of camera time, and will receive detailed feedback and redirection. Further, we will watch-back the work in class (with more feedback)!! THUS, by immediately focusing on practicing auditioning and scenes “on camera”, actors will get the training that they actually need when they go out to audition.
