The Hollywood Acting Workshop offers a safe and challenging work environment for the beginning or professional actor who is interested in developing strong cold reading, audition and performance skills specific to television, commercial and film. In all of our classes, we combine the craft of acting with solid technique-for performing on camera-to enhance both auditioning as well as on-set performances when you get those acting jobs.
Our teachers inspire creativity, risk-taking and personal growth in the actor. We focus on promoting your freedom and confidence, to expanding your range, and deepening your connection and joy in your work. We will be looking for your individual needs and your strengths, to build on; and also your resistances and acting blocks. Our approach to pushing through resistances and acting blocks is gentle, yet constructive critique and recommendations-to ensure that the breakthroughs lead to lasting gains.
Every student works during every class! This is vital because actors only grow when they participate, take risks, and succeed or fail in a safe environment. You can’t learn acting by sitting in a chair.

With most of our classes, we are able to place you almost immediately. That is, you can jump into a class or workshop cycle at almost any time of the month (without missing any content of the lessons). Once you make your deposit, a Class Assistant will call you to confirm your start date.
